Dr. Kathryn Freedman

Dr. Kathryn R. Freedman grew up in Roanoke, Virginia. She received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Georgia and graduated in 2001 from the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry. While in dental school, Dr. Freedman received the Stan Hopkins Memorial Scholarship and the Georgia Education Foundation Scholarship. She was the Class of 2001 Admissions Committee Representative for three years. She received the Eleanor Bushee Senior Woman Dental Award and was a member of the Senior Honors General Dentistry Clinic.

After dental school, Dr. Freedman practiced dentistry in Charlottesville, VA for 3 years while her husband completed his medical residency at the University of Virginia. Her husband completed his training, and their family moved to Greenville. Dr. Freedman has been practicing dentistry in Greenville since 2004. She is a member of the American Dental Association, South Carolina Dental Association, Piedmont Dental Society, and the Academy of General Dentistry. She and her husband, Allen, have two daughters.
